“Captain Academy”
The first episode with Sue Korol’s lettering. Made everything feel so much more, I dunno, “professional” in an artistic sense. And since I’d already planned out the year’s episodes, they had a more unified feel: Instead of just individual adventures, they were part of a larger story arc. It all just felt really solid.
I also started putting even more time into it.
Cliff Brunger (84) was, in fact, “commodore” of the YP Squadron. So he seemed perfect to become “Jeff Bungle” and Captain Academy. (At least, for once, I recognized I created a name that was “corny as hell.”)
