“The Hood Enchantress”
As a plebe, my only awareness of Hood College was comments and jokes about this nearby all-female college where (Legend Has It) the Sole Aim of their students was to marry midshipmen.
Based on that single scrap of USNA lore – and mids’ famous fondness for beer – The Hood Enchantress was born.
I drew this episode on large posterboard instead of typing paper, to make the artwork look better in print. Clearly, I was already hooked.
