DARIOR

DARIOR was a (usually) four-page fantasy-adventure featured in the U.S. Naval Academy‘s monthly humor magazine The Log from 1981 to 1984. 

Created by Sean Hilferty (’84), the stories centered on a midshipman who was granted the power to become the wizard DARIOR in order to fight threats to the Brigade — threats which were often instigated by Wizadmiral Rickover.

The stories were sometimes dumb, and often wordy. But apparently, DARIOR still made some kind of impact — people remember it. 

So for the nostalgic and the curious, here are Darior’s adventures.
